Turns out the camera on the Tablet can’t be used like a Nest Cam, so that rules out using it as a security camera. The dock itself also cannot be cast to (standalone) like a Nest Mini. Boo…

I cannot seem to justify this, at the price point, even factoring in the discounts/rebates and Google One cashback. Saving my money for the Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel Watch 2.
